Architecture film festival goes hybrid
ADFF- The Architecture & Design Film Festival announced it will be doing a hybrid schedule of online and in-person events for its 2021/2022 season.

TORONTO – The Architecture & Design Film Festival (ADFF), the world’s largest film festival focusing on architecture and design has announced its 2021/2022 season will follow a hybrid format that includes full festivals, private film previews, pop-up screenings and a virtual program.

“The festival has decided not to host public screenings in September and early October for ADFF:NY and ADFF:LA due to the unpredictable nature of the pandemic and its ongoing challenges,” reads a statement from festival organizers.

ADFF added it still in tends to plan in-person events starting with its Toronto and Vancouver festivals in November.

“这些节日是电流ly continuing as originally planned, but the festival will remain vigilant in monitoring the recommended guidelines and protocols for each location,” said organizers.

The new schedule allows for the festivals online format, ADFF:ONLINE, to happen earlier in the year during NYCxDESIGN. It will take place from Nov. 17 to Dec. 3 for U.S. and Canadian audiences.

The virtual program includes the festivals full roster of films, including pieces focusing on Indigenous architecture, sustainable design, design visionaries and more. It can be accessed from any device, Apple TV or Roku.
