MONTREAL — CIMA+ and Systemex Industries Conseils, both based in Quebec, have announced the establishment of a strategic alliance.
CIMA+ is a privately owned consulting engineering firm, and Systemex is a provider of asset performance management consulting services. The partnership will allow the firms to combine their strengths while sharing resources and knowledge, stated a release.
“CIMA+ and Systemex boast complementary strengths,” commented Steeve Fiset, chief strategy officer with CIMA+, in a statement. “The combination of their expertise in asset management and operational readiness and commissioning with our firm’s expertise in building, infrastructure, transportation, energy and resource engineering will benefit our respective clientele.”
Systemex president Louis Soucy added, “Joining forces with CIMA+ will allow us to add their project management, communication systems and environmental services to our overall service offering and enable both firms to offer an enhanced range of services.”
The partnership was implemented in December 2022. It represents a bilateral relationship, not a subcontracting arrangement, stated the release, and each firm is free to engage in any other contractual arrangement.
CIMA+ has 30 offices across Canada and employs 2,800 workers. Systemex has clients across North America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
